Day 1: Arrival in KigaliListenelement 1
Upon your arrival Kigali and upon completion of the formalities, you will be greeted by our local guide, If time permits, take a tour of the city of Kigali, including the Genocide memorial, the market and handicraft shops.

Day 2: Drive to Nyungwe NPListenelement 2
After the early start you drive to Nyungwe NP. En route, visit the Royal Palace and the National Museum, one of the most culturally rich in Africa. Lunch in Butare and drive to Nyungwe. In the evening you can take a walk in the woods.
Accommodation: e.g.. Nyungwe Forest Lodge / Nyungwe Top View Hill.

Day 3: Nyungwe NPListenelement 3
After breakfast, visit the Kamiranzovu Swamps. Enjoy bird watching all morning and return to the lodge for lunch in the heat of the day. In the evening you can watch birds in Karamba and return late for dinner.

Day4: Nyungwe NPListenelement 4
After breakfast, walk to the waterfall for a chance to see one of the albertine endemic species, the Rwenzori Turaco. In the afternoon you will be able to see the colobus monkeys.

Day 5: Return to KigaliAfter breakfast drive back to Kigali
- 4 nights and meals in good to very good lodges with breakfast, half or full board in double rooms
- If no hot lunches are offered, they will get a packed lunch
- Professional and experienced English speaking tour guide (optional German language guide $ 45 per day)
- Transport in a 4 * 4 vehicle with pitch roof, fuel during the entire tour
- All entrances and fees for game drives, all relevant state taxes
- Water during the tour
- Flight and visa fees to Rwanda and back
